March 4, 2015 by Smock Alley

There’s only a few short days left of Collaborations 2015. We’ve had clowns, crazed street fighters, gender benders, guardian spirits and that’s only the half of it, but we’ve still got a few tricks left up our sleeves.

Among the brave new works in progress on offer here until Saturday March 7th are two staged readings, full length new plays performed from the page in front of a live audience. The best part? It will only cost you €5 to be the first to see them.

Alya
Octopus Theatre Company

An unusually beautiful girl named Alya died in strange circumstances in the summer of 1997. Nine years later Alya’s three friends, Matty, Orlaith and Aaron meet for the first time since the incident.
