A special workshop will take place as part of the symposium on “Patrick Pearse and
the Theatre” which takes place in St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra on the 29th/30th
The workshop will focus on Pearse’s final play The Singer which was written and rehearsed in the months immediately preceding the Easter Rising. The workshop will be of interest to all those seeking to explore the theatrical writings of Patrick Pearse at a time of renewed focus on the writings of the main personalities of the 1916 Rising. It will also give participants a chance to network and mingle with others interested in Pearse’s plays.
Special rates for those involved in theatre: Friday workshop and tea/coffee: 7 euro Workshop, symposium and musical performance 25 euro (to include lunch on Saturday) Optional social evening on Friday.
