Call for Singers
Be part of the Dublin Fringe Festival through a Choral Exploration of Dublin City.
Songs in the Key of D – September 14, 2013, Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin.
Dublin City has given the world some of the most moving, articulate and passionate songs ever written. Songs in the Key of D, a show in the 2013 Dublin Fringe Festival, is inviting singers of all abilities to join them in giving some of Dublin’s best known and loved songs a new performance and connect the audience to their city through song.
Whether you’re a professional singer, a choral expert or can just hold a tune, we’d like to hear from you. It doesn’t matter how good or bad a singer you think you think you are. You’ll be surprised at what you learn about your voice while singing in a choir!
The performance will explore musicians from Handel to Hansard and Lynott to Drew and will be a wonderful opportunity to be part of an exciting new choir. It’s open to anyone living in or around Dublin, whether you’re born in the city or not.
